Duties:
Under the direction of the Property Manager, the Painter is responsible for the interior painting and related minor repairs of family and senior housing units in the Coldbrook to Mt. Uniacke territory. The incumbent will also be required to operate a motor vehicle.
Qualifications:
Minimum of three to five years of experience in residential painting and the associated minor repairs is required. Must be able to work cooperatively with others, while displaying a positive attitude, in a client focused environment. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Experience working with seniors and families is an asset. Travel is a requirement of this position and accordingly, possession of a valid driver’s license in good standing for the Province of Nova Scotia and access to a reliable vehicle is required.
This is a full time term position, for a period of up to 1 year, which offers a comprehensive benefits and pension package. Hours of work are Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm, 35 hours per week.
Offer of employment is contingent upon the successful candidate passing appropriate background checks.
Salary Range: TE 5 - $25,762 - $28,370
