Qualifications:

• Willingness to participate in WHMIS and occupational health and safety
• Minimum of Grade XII
• Successful candidate must have participated in or be willing to participate in crisis prevention/intervention course
• Valid driver’s license
• Must perform preventive maintenance and other maintenance duties (painting, basic pumping principles, basic electrical and carpentry skills)
• Previous experience in a health care setting would be an asset
• Willingness to be certified in dangerous goods
• Must be within 20 minutes response time from hospital

Assets:

• General knowledge of ventilation and hot water boiler systems an asset
