Blue Note Caribou Mines Inc. is actively recruiting for an Electrical & Instrumentation General Foreman to support the operation of Caribou Mines.  If you meet the qualifications of the position, or know someone who does, please contact the Human Resources Department.

E & I General Foreman

Reporting to the Plant Services Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of surface, underground and open pit electrical and instrumentation.  You will also be responsible for providing day-to-day leadership and management of the assigned instrument and electrical team to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.   You will have a strong background in managing high voltage distribution systems up to 15KV and a thorough understanding of modern control systems. 

The ideal candidate will have one of the three following educational requirements:

• an Electrical Engineering Degree,
• a Technology diploma in both electrical and instrumentation,
• or Industrial Journeyman Certification in both trades. 

A minimum of 5-10 years of supervisory experience is also required.
