Full Service Supervisor - NS
Job Accountabilities:
- Focus on methods to ensure full service profitability and productivity standards are met and maintained;
- Manage and control all aspects of the distribution function within Nova Scotia;
- You will be responsible for executing trade execution through the management of field personnel within Nova Scotia;
- You will manage sales and profit by establishing and maintaining positive customer relationships; as well as manage operational expenses and an operating budget;
- You will monitor competitive activity in the market, create and conduct customer sales presentations;
- Provide professional sales and technical support to the On-Premise department for the development and management of internal controls;
- Develop and maintain a delivery system that minimizes cost to the system while exceeding customer expectations;
- Monitor and report expenses associated with the delivery function at high levels of frequency;
- Ensure maximum in-outlet execution in District through auditing and reporting of findings;
- Track and communicate distribution performance against established performance goals;
- Work with warehouse / dispatch to ensure proper loads are created / keyed;
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer delivery issues and communicate with appropriate persons in operations;
- Conduct performance reviews of employees supervised, and manage development activities;
- Maintain strict accountability of delivery driver, merchandiser equipment and daily documents.
The Candidate:
As an ideal candidate, you have a University education, Business Degree preferred, 3+ years sales and customer management experience (preferably in the consumer products industry), 3+ years supervisory/management experience. You can demonstrate success in sales execution, management, personnel development and team-building, planning and organizational skills. You are strong in the following key skill areas; communication, strategic planning, team building, and customer service. You have advanced analytical skills with ability to manage and interpret budget and financial statements, and possess excellent personal computer skills with working knowledge of BASIS. You have a valid driver's license and a driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
