Order Department Clerk
Location: Saint John

Manpower is currently recruiting for an Order Department Clerk to work for a large flooring and building supply Company in Saint John, NB.  This is a full time permanent position, with great compensation and full benefits after three months.

This position would require you to field calls from Customers and outside sales representatives with questions and orders for the Company's products.  You will key in all orders and related information into a spreadsheet program daily.  

The ideal candidate will have at least one year experience working in a flooring and/or building supplies environment, preferably wholesale.  You must have strong computer skills, particularly in MS Excel and Word, as all the tracking and coding is done daily on these programs.  You will be constantly dealing with people, so a great personality is a must!  You will need to be energetic and enthusiastic, and enjoy working with people.  You will need to demonstrate the desire to learn, as this position has a steep learning curve with a large catalogue of products that you need to be familiar with.  Having said that, being able to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment while realizing the sense of urgency of the position is key.
