Armco Capital Inc. is Atlantic Canada’s largest residential real estate developer and a 2005 and 2006 winner of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies.  We currently have an opportunity in our Halifax office within our Community Development Group to assist with its land development projects throughout the Maritimes.

The successful candidate will be involved in various land development projects from concept through the HRM approval process to completion. You will be responsible for liaison between contractors and consultants relating to land development designs and construction, along with the HRM approval process. 

Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

• Project Management relating to the land development process
• Liaison with project consultants, contractors and various HRM offices
• Involvement with the HRM subdivision approval process
• CAD duties 
• Sub-division and lot grading reviews

Successful candidate should have engineering, surveying, and/or construction technology, education and or experience.  Must be proficient in the use of AutoCad Civil 3D and/or MS Project Software.  The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the land development industry, including related municipal regulations and approval processes.  As regular visits to various government offices will be necessary, a vehicle is required for this position.
