| The Ideal Candidate |
The ideal candidate will possess a two-year diploma in steel design, complemented by several years of progressively responsible experience in a technical design role in a company working directly in the engineering field. |
| Job Description |
The Senior Steel Detailer will work with a team, designing innovative, high-quality steel building components. |
| Responsibilities |
• Supervise production of steel product drawings;
• Initiate, implement and maintain steel detailing library and standards;
• Maintain and supervise drawing quality assurance. |
| Requirements |
• Five or more years of proven steel design experience;
• Strong management and team-building experience;
• Superior communication abilities;
• Exceptionally strong knowledge of CAD software packages;
• Knowledge of welding, materials and pre-engineering material logistics;
• Completion of a two-year program in steel design. |
| Compensation and Benefits Details |
This role includes industry-leading compensation including full benefits.
Our client would prefer that the successful candidate relocate to Swift Current, SK. In this case, relocation funds will be available. |
