Our client, the largest prestressed concrete manufacturer in Eastern Canada, has an immediate opportunity for a Concrete Quality Manager. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work for a leader in the industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and monitoring of:

• High Performance Concrete Mixes for all Precast Plants;
• Specialty Mixes for Architectural Precast Concrete Wall Panels;
• Zero Slump Mixes for Concrete Pipe and Precast Extruded Products;
• Reliable Concrete Mixes for 9 Ready Mix Plants.

Qualifications:

• Should have knowledge and experience with CSA A23.1/A23.2.
• Drive, determination and a self-disciplined approach to achieving results.
• Proven ability to make sound business decisions authoritatively and quickly while working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment is a must.  
• Superior communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management is required.
• The ideal candidate has an Engineering background, and experience in management in the concrete industry is a definite asset.
