We service our customers from our operations in New Brunswick & Nova Scotia and have expanded our market area from the Atlantic Provinces to include the New England region of the United States. Due to this growth Strescon Limited currently has a career opportunity for an Assistant Plant Superintendent.

Responsibilities:

• Effective communication with customers, other departments and shop/field personnel while focusing on solutions that consider the impact on other departments; 
• Efficient scheduling & ensuring product is produced in a timely manner to meet commitments;
• Resolve conflicts on drawings and daily problems in production; 
• Maintain sufficient inventory of materials for production and keep accurate records;
• Coordinate jobs between shops, office, sites and ensure materials are charged appropriately to jobs.

Education Requirements - Knowledge & Skills:

• Engineering Technology Diploma/Engineering Degree or previous experience in the concrete or manufacturing industry;
• Must have strong knowledge and understanding of construction drawings;
• High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills are essential;
• Proficient in MS Office products is required with previous experience with JD Edwards One World considered an asset;
• Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
