Our client has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Industrial Energy Efficiency Advisor in New Brunswick.
As an integral part of a dynamic industrial team, the Senior Industrial Energy Efficiency Advisor will play a key role in delivering this program to large industrial facilities in New Brunswick. Reporting to the Director of Commercial and Industrial Programs, the Senior Industry Account Representative's primary responsibilities are to provide strategic and technical support to Industry, thereby facilitating and maximizing their access to the Industrial Program, and to provide technical support to the programs processes for providing incentives and training.
Responsibilities:
- Promotion of the program to the industry target market and service providers.
- Account management with Industry Participants and potential Participants, fostering strong working relationships.
- Technical oversight to the five main Program streams:
- capital projects pipeline
- energy management information system (EMIS) development and application training
- custom technical support
- service sector engagement
- Providing technical support to industry participant accounts as required. This may include energy data analysis, on site-mini-audits, review of studies and technology research.
- Provide technical input and advice to governance and incentive approval processes.
- Undertake technical review of program deliverables such as preliminary and detailed feasibility assessments, and incentive disbursement requests.
- Procurement and Project Management of the delivery of technical support services by other Consultants and Service Providers.
- Assist with program monitoring and tracking and evaluation activities.
- Other duties as assigned from time-to-time.

Essential Qualifications:
- Previous work experience in an industrial environment.
- The successful candidate will bring 7-10 years of previous work experience in Energy Services, Engineering Consulting or Sales, Energy Utilities, Energy Program Development or equivalent to this role.
- Strong client relationship building skills and comfort in executive level presentations
- Knowledge of energy management solutions for the industrial sector (hands-on energy management experience is a definite strong asset).
- Project management experience, including technical and human resources.
- Experience in financial transactions, contracts and procurement.
- Report writing and presentations.
The successful candidate for this position should have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or Science. Formal business training would be a definite asset. A combination of equivalent training and experience may be considered.
