Production Supervisor, Mechanical

Irving Shipbuilding Inc. has been carrying out ship repair, building quality ships and fabricated modules for over 100 yrs.  The company’s commitment to Health, Safety and care for its employees and the environment is an integral part of our business.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Supervise, Co-ordinate and Schedule activities of workers
• Establish work schedules
• Co-ordinate work activities with other units
• Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
• Prepare production and other reports

Education Requirements – Knowledge & Skills:

• Completion of High School
• Completion of some College / CEGEP / Vocational or Technical Training
• 6 – 9 years Experience
