Job Description Job Statement

Ensures quality control maintenance on all loads by providing team members with accurate tracking details.
Responsibilities Essential Responsibilities

1. Ensures all loads are picked up and delivered on schedule.

2. Reviews all trip sheets to ensure all expectations are feasible. If not, alerts customer service and logistics.

3. Establishes call back procedures with carriers to ensure quality control.

4. Communicates with drivers via the telephone to ensure we know where the freight is at all times.

5. Alerts team members of late pick-up and/or delivery, or any new information. Responsible for determining causes of break down in carrier service.

6. Calculates time and distance to ensure that delivery standard is going to be met.

7. Inputs all information and correspondence into the Clipboard notes. Reviews clipboard notes for any areas that require special attention.

8. Develops and strengthens positive relations with carriers in all correspondence.

9. Performs related duties as assigned by Operations Manager and General Manager.
Requirements Required Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills

Effective time management and organizational skills are required for this position. A high level of mental alertness, investigative skills and a high sense of urgency are required for successful performance. A strong orientation to detail and the ability to communicate effectively are also required. Must have the ability to operate efficiently within a Windows environment.

Qualifications

A minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position. Any experience in a customer service or administrative role would be preferred.

The ability to proactively identify potential failures in service levels from carriers.
Compensation 21k -25k ($10-12.50/hr)
