We are currently seeking a Business Analyst / Six Sigma Green Belt based in Saint John, NB.
Responsibilities:
- In depth financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Identify and lead initiatives to improve processes as well as implement internal controls to capture the change.
- Participate with the senior management team in identifying and seizing business opportunities, and implementing new business tools.
- Actively involved with our Six Sigma and Process Improvement team.
Qualifications:
- Previous process improvement and /or Six Sigma certification would be considered an asset or must be willing to enroll in Six Sigma & LEAN training.
- Broad knowledge of accounting processes, procedures and software applications.
- Proficient in the use of Excel, Minitab, Cognos, & PowerPoint, experience with AS400 would be an asset.
- Self starter with demonstrated problem solving abilities and strong communications skills.
- Proven track record of providing thorough and accurate information and analysis.
- Previous experience with continuous improvement processes would be considered an asset
- Previous experience in the Transportation industry is preferable.
- Previous experience with leading change and projects is desired.
- Travel will be required.
