Delivery Driver / Home Installer
Lawtons Rehab Equipment Centre

We are presently accepting applications for a Full Time Delivery Driver/Home Installer to be part of the team servicing Nova Scotia. Reporting to the Manager of the Rehab Equipment Centre, the Delivery Driver/Home Installer will be based out of our Home Health Care Depot in Dartmouth, NS, and will be responsible for the pick-up, delivery, setup, and install of equipment. 

Qualifications: 

• Successful completion of Grade 12 
• Home delivery / general delivery experience
• Must have general labour, mechanical and/or relevant electrical experience
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Must be bondable and have a clean driving abstract
• Ability to lift large items – up to 60lbs
• Must have general labour, mechanical and/or relevant electrical experience
• WHMIS and Emergency First Aid training preferred.
• Professionalism in Customer Service
• Must have good oral communication, decision making, and critical thinking, job task planning and organizing

Responsibilities:

• Pick-up and delivery of various items and products to and from customers homes and Lawtons Store locations
• Setup and install equipment in customers homes
• Load and unload goods
• Assembly of product as required
• Collect and/or make payments for goods
• Plan travel schedules and routes, use maps
• Assist with technical duties as assigned within the depot
• Travel within Nova Scotia
• Other duties as assigned
