DISPATCHER
Day & Ross – St. Johns NL

As a Dispatcher working from our St. John's Terminal you will ensure that all linehaul trailers arrive on time, paperwork is completed in accordance with the freight flow system, make delivery appointments and schedule maintenance on company owned equipment.

You are excited about putting your skills to work in a highly competitive, growing transportation market. With your thorough knowledge of the surrounding service area, excellent communication and interpersonal skills you will be able to work independently or within a team. You will use your strong computer skills, professional telephone skills to excel in this position.

It will be expected that you have a working knowledge of provincial and federal transportation requirements, good keyboarding skills and a good working knowledge of MS Excel. Making decisions in a timely manner and taking ownership for them is critical.
