Headquartered in Laval, Quebec, Michelin North America (Canada) Inc. (www.michelin.ca) employs approximately 3, 700 employees and operates three plants in Nova Scotia.

Michelin North America (Canada) Inc. is currently seeking a warehouse logistics planner to join its Kentville, Nova Scotia team. The role of the planner is to provide scheduling and logistics support to increase the efficiency and productivity of daily warehouse operations.

Responsibilities:

• logistics planning to optimize shipping and receiving activities
• liaise with employees, transportation companies and customers to ensure on-time delivery
• input data and generate reports, BOL and invoices
• analyze reports to increase efficiency and identify potential problems
• address deficiencies with shipping and receiving to increase productivity
• work with senior management to implement planned changes to warehouse
• ensure warehouse is orderly and easy to navigate
• monitor and count warehouse stock
• other administrative duties as required

Requirements:

• minimum of 5 years work experience in the transportation and logistics industry
• demonstrated success working both with teams and independently
• ability to make decision and problem solve in a fast paced environment
• extensive experience generating reports and entering data accurately
• a high degree of initiative and flexibility
