The Trucking Industry is growing! It's about providing goods and services to your family, friends, neighbors, community and your country. The Trucking Industry values the work ethics of the Professional Qualified Driver and we want you to share your ability and knowledge in Canada's fastest growing Industry.

The Trucking Industry employs over 600,000 Canadians of which approximately 235,000 are Truck Drivers. As a result of this growing Industry, there are an addit ional 280,000 Canadians employed as goods and services suppliers to the Industry.

The Tractor Trailer Internship Program is for individuals who wish to pursue a career as a long haul truck driver. This course is a twelve (12) week programs (8 weeks at the college and 4 weeks of internship). The internship program was developed in 1994 at Commercial Safety College and put into full operation in 1995. This internship program was adopted as the training standard by the Province of Nova Scotia in 1997
