District Manager
Location: Halifax

Our client is currently seeking a District Manager with an Industrial background to oversee Company operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Overall management, growth and development of the District including key elements of customer satisfaction, environmental health and safety, operations and cost performance.
  • Manage District activities to ensure attainment of objectives and implement and manage relevant programs and initiatives.
  • Review organizational and staffing plans to monitor and promote continuous development of employees.
  • Develop business planning strategies.
  • Assist Finance department as required.
  • Assist Sales department as required.
  • Government Tender experience considered a strong asset.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years' experience in an Operations Management role within an industrial environment.
  • Strong staff management and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite of products.

This position requires occasional travel throughout North America.
