Our client is currently seeking a District Manager with an Industrial background to oversee Company operations.
Responsibilities:
- Overall management, growth and development of the District including key elements of customer satisfaction, environmental health and safety, operations and cost performance.
- Manage District activities to ensure attainment of objectives and implement and manage relevant programs and initiatives.
- Review organizational and staffing plans to monitor and promote continuous development of employees.
- Develop business planning strategies.
- Assist Finance department as required.
- Assist Sales department as required.
- Government Tender experience considered a strong asset.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of five years' experience in an Operations Management role within an industrial environment.
- Strong staff management and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite of products.
This position requires occasional travel throughout North America.
