We currently have a three (3) or four (4) month opportunity available for a Water & Wastewater Technician based out of our regional office in Trenton, Ontario.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting the regional Operations Manager in the day-to-day operation of water and wastewater systems;
- Performing regular inspections and operational duties associated with the various water and wastewater plants, pumping stations and distribution/collection systems;
- Performing light maintenance duties and repairs to equipment;
- Collecting samples and/or performing routine analysis;
- Reading and maintaining water meters;
- Maintaining grounds and buildings.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in related post-secondary studies.
