Intermediate Environmental Scientist: Global Engineering Consultancy

CRA is looking for an Intermediate Environmental Scientist in our Halifax, NS office, who aspires to become an active employee in a vibrant, well established international environmental and engineering consulting firm. We offer a compensation package fully commensurate with experience.
Duties:
- Coordinates and conducts field surveys
- Project management
- Data interpretation, analysis, and management
- Report, proposal, and correspondence preparation
- Environmental permitting
- Client and public presentation, and
- Client and regulator interactions
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in aquatic ecology with practical field experience
- Minimum 5 years of applied experience
- Experience in resource inventories, permitting, and environmental impact assessment
- Safe work and quality ethics
- Demonstrated report writing skills
- Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and communication skills
- Leadership ability
- Project and personnel management skills
- Positive attitude, good communication skills and interpersonal skills mandatory
- Seeks challenges and takes initiative
- Willing to travel
- Drivers license
