The Canadian Cancer Society is a national, community-based organization of volunteers, whose mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer. In partnership with the National Cancer Institute of Canada, we achieve our mission through research, education, support for people living with cancer and advocacy for healthy public policy.
The New Brunswick Division of the Canadian Cancer Society is seeking a Manager of Gift Planning to develop, co-ordinate, and support planned giving activities in New Brunswick.
The successful incumbent will be responsible for all aspects of the development and growth of revenues within our planned giving and major gift areas. This position requires regular travel and evening work. A valid driver's license is required for this position.
Qualifications:
University Degree in Arts or Social Sciences, and a minimum of three (3) years work experience in fundraising, law, financial planning, sales and/or the voluntary sector. Familiarity with planned giving instruments and bilingualism will be considered strong assets.
This is a 12 month contract position covering a Maternity Leave. The position offers an excellent working environment and a competitive salary to commensurate with experience and is based out of Saint John, NB.
