LED Roadway Lighting Limited is seeking the best and brightest to join our growing team of professionals to assist in product design and development. Technical disciplines include electrical circuit design, mechanical and optics modeling. The incumbent will work directly with senior research and design staff and will leverage their knowledge in engineering, physics, or material science to enhance this cutting edge product.
LED Roadway Lighting has partnered with our sister company C-Vision, an award winning, world class, globally competitive electronics manufacturing and design services company to drive the success of this project (www.cvision.ca). Our $2.9 million dollar R&D project has received $2.1 million in project support from the Canadian Federal Government (ACOA).
This position will be located in our R&D facility in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Responsibilities:

- Advanced Mechanical and Thermal Modeling
- Light Pattern/Distribution Research
- Electrical Circuit Design
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Masters of Science in Physics or Material Science, or Bachelor in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- New graduates welcome to apply, 2-5 years of experience preferred
- Advanced computer modeling or mathematical modeling a strong asset
- Passion for the environment and development of green technologies.
- A strong technical background with an interest to grow with a highly innovative team of professionals
