Position Synopsis
As a valued member of our team the Reliability Consultant will be directly responsible for providing solutions to our clients through onsite and offsite project implementation.
The incumbent will be responsible for all reliability and maintenance related tasks under the guidance of our senior staff.
Position Responsibilities
The position of Reliability Consultant is responsible for:
- Development of documentation related to projects to ensure the clients' needs are exceeded.
- Ensure the accuracy of all materials, reports, and data gathered for all projects.
- Work with clients to accomplish their reliability goals through defined tasks as outlined in the project plan.
- Interpret tasks and apply software and hardware solutions as required.
- Interpret machinery problems and offer clients quantifiable solutions.
- Perform work under direction from the client, and the project manager in a professional and efficient manner.
- Promote a positive representation of MaximumRPM to our client base.
Position Location
In this position the incumbent will have the option of being based from either Fredericton New Brunswick, Saint John New Brunswick or Halifax Nova Scotia, however will require significant travel. An initial project will require weekly visits to the town of Nackawick, New Brunswick and future projects are foreseen in Saint John, New Brunswick.
Position Requirements
- Education & Experience
- Bachelors Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Licensed as an engineer in Training or Professional Engineer is required for this position.
- Additional reliability training such as CMRP or from CMVA would be considered beneficial to this position.
- Experience in an industrial setting, specifically within a maintenance department will be considered an asset.
- Demonstrated ability for problem solving, and an interest in the field of maintenance and reliability.
- Skills
- Proven analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
- Development of logical processes and solutions that demonstrate innovation and ingenuity.
- Self driven to outperform requirements and able to work at remote locations with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to adapt communications to various audiences.
- Facilitate discussions among groups of technical and non-technical professionals.
- Manage priorities to determine appropriate scope of actions while continuing to meet project milestones.
- Proficient with software such as Microsoft Office Suite, and a demonstrated ability to adapt to the use of other software systems.
