Technical Inside Sales Rep (Pump & Process Equipment)
with Municipal, Industrial, Fire and/or API Pump related process equipment systems expertise.

Provide pump application and quotation support for this national distributor of pumping equipment and custom packaged pump and compressor systems.

Our Client provides quality equipment, systems and services to industrial, municipal and commercial users throughout Canada serving many different market sectors including: Oil & Gas, Mining & Metals, Chemical & Petrochemical, Pulp & Paper, Municipal Water & Wastewater Treatment and many others.

Based in Halifax and working with the National Inside Sales Manager and the Outside Sales and Technical Services Group, you will be responsible for:

• Providing timely and relevant day-to-day communication with internal and external customers
• Reviewing applicable RFQ's, applying related products/applications and preparing detailed quotations for standard units and products
• Working directly with represented manufacturers to obtain technical information, project pricing and special requirements
• Assisting in preparing post-order receipt internal communication including sales order work sheets, draft purchase orders, technical submittal packages and manuals
• Assisting in the preparation of various market, quotation activity reports, and sales forecasts to both the Company and Represented Manufacturers.

You are likely a CET or technical college graduate with a successful industrial/mechanical inside sales track record dealing with a wide range of municipal & industrial or pumping & process equipment applications in a customer first quality culture and enjoy working independently or as part of a busy team.
