Stantec's Concepts Group provides sustainability based consulting services for a variety of scales in the built environment. Our multi-disciplinary team is comprised of collaborative, creative, and visionary professionals. We assist a variety of clients in creating high-quality, high performance and sustainable environments. This is where great people and great ideas truly make a difference. Our team members have unique opportunities to provide design assistance and consulting services to many client types in a variety of sectors. Our service portfolios include Urban Sustainability, Resource Management, and Building Performance. Stantec is seeking a LEED Facilitator to assist Project Managers with green building/LEED consulting services for multiple projects. We offer a competitive compensation package and the opportunity to work and learn in a unique, interdisciplinary team environment. - Undergraduate degree in either engineering, science or related social sciences discipline OR a degree/diploma in building technology;
- Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing;
- Proficiency with MS Office applications;
- Motivated, organized and able to take on responsibility for a number of tasks at one time;
- Self-directed, proactive;
- Familiarity with building construction processes;
- Ability to read and understand project drawings and specifications;
- An understanding of the LEED program and associated rating systems under both the Canada and US Green Building Councils;
- Deep understanding of sustainability concepts and their practical applications;
- Committed to environmental responsibility and social equity;
- LEED Accreditation is preferred,
- Experience with Energy Modeling is preferred.

| Qualifications: |
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with both clients and colleagues in support of the LEED process; Work with project manager, design and construction teams to coordinate all required LEED submittals Liaise with the Canada and US Green Building Council in support of LEED certification; Provide LEED program interpretations and support to design and construction team members; Track and monitor various rating systems and trends.
