Stantec is seeking a LEED Facilitator to assist Project Managers with green building/LEED consulting services for multiple projects. • Undergraduate degree in either engineering, science or related social sciences discipline OR a degree/diploma in building technology;
• Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing;
• Proficiency with MS Office applications;
• Motivated, organized and able to take on responsibility for a number of tasks at one time;
• Self-directed, proactive;
• Familiarity with building construction processes;
• Ability to read and understand project drawings and specifications;
• An understanding of the LEED program and associated rating systems under both the Canada and US Green Building Councils;
• Deep understanding of sustainability concepts and their practical applications;
• Committed to environmental responsibility and social equity;
• LEED Accreditation is preferred,
• Experience with Energy Modeling is preferred.

• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with both clients and colleagues in support of the LEED process;
• Work with project manager, design and construction teams to coordinate all required LEED submittals
• Liaise with the Canada and US Green Building Council in support of LEED certification;
• Provide LEED program interpretations and support to design and construction team members;
• Track and monitor various rating systems and trends.
