Our client, a leading Atlantic Canadian engineering and environmental consulting firm, requires a Geotechnical Engineer for its expanding team of professionals.  Based in Halifax, this opening is a full-time, career-oriented position.

Duties:

• Assume responsibility on both individual and team projects, including investigations, analysis, design, and construction quality control
• Provide technical support and leadership role with other geotechnical, materials, and geoenvironmemtal staff members
• Construction observation and inspection
• Assisting with marketing and proposal preparation
• Tasks as assigned by the Divisional Manager or assigned Project Manager
• Work with associated engineering staff in a team environment

Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering
• Eligible for registration as a Member in the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Nova Scotia
• Strong computer and interpersonal skills
• Excellent command of English and good writing skills
• 7-10 years of experience
• Strong geotechnical analysis background
