The Position:
We are seeking an Architectural Technologist (Intermediate to Senior) with a minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience working on commercial and institutional projects within an architectural firm. Experience with Revit will be considered an advantage and a desire for continuing education is a must.

The Requirements:

1. Project Based:
   • Has specific knowledge and previous experience producing contract drawings along with reasonable familiarity of specifications.
   • Experience reviewing consultant drawings and co-ordinating with Architectural drawings
   • Is familiar with National Building Code
   • Is capable of doing a complete set of contract documents for a small project with minimal direction from supervisors.
2. Technical:
   • Familiar with Surveys (topographic & legal), Soils reports, Foundations, Exterior wall types, Window types, Roofing types, Floor plans , Millwork, Reflected Ceiling Plans, Washroom details, Glazed partition types & schedules, Door & Window schedules, Hardware schedules, Room finish schedules, Specialty detailing, Shop Drawing Reviews
   • Able to create "As Found" and "As Built" Drawings
3. Team Based:
   • Must be willing to maintain ongoing communication with: Partner in Charge (PIC), Design Architect, Project Manager, Peers.
   • Must seek out and provide mentoring opportunities.
   • Must be able to provide timely and constructive feedback in a group-work environment.
4. General:
   • Must be skilled in AUTO CAD 2009 with a preference for experience using Revit.
   • Must have excellent English language, communication, and organizational skills.
