This integrated team of companies operates in the Marine, Industrial Manufacturing and Services sectors to provide world class shipbuilding and repair, drill rig construction and conversion, offshore fabrication, industrial manufacturing, engineering, supply chain management and quality and technical services. We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Project Manager to join their team in Halifax, Nova Scotia

Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage and oversee new ship construction (mid shore patrol vessels)
• Ensure that all operations conform to the quality and safety standards of the customer's expectations
• Monitoring the progress of projects to ensure timely delivery while maintaining standards and cost effectiveness

Requirements:

• 10 years + relevant experience in project management in Shipbuilding or Marine Industries
• Engineering Degree, PMP or MBA
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
