| Job Description |
The Senior Transportation Project Director provides overall project management including service delivery, document control, records control, direction for project planning, scheduling, resources including geomatics and materials testing, project costing and budget control. |
| Responsibilities |
• Work with Department Management on the delivery of a variety of transportation engineering projects and provide leadership to project managers; staff development and mentoring
• Answer directly to clients on administrative, financial, and staff performance matters;
• Implement and provide technical revisions as required to an "Engineering Best Practices Manual"
• Incorporate procedural requirements and use of appropriate QMS forms associated with all facets of project delivery

| Requirements |
• P.Eng with 10+ years relevant transportation project management experience
• Significant previous experience, as a consultant or government employee, in the administration of various Transportation Engineering projects
• Design and specification writing, construction estimating, contract preparation, contract administration, and construction management
• Excellent time management skills in relation to project assignments, staff motivation and organizational skills
• Strong awareness of project financial perspectives
