Our Client, one of Atlantic Canada’s leading commercial and industrial general contractors, is seeking an experienced Project Manager. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and compensation package, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Full health benefits and a pension plan are also included.

Responsibilities:

A Project Manager is responsible for budgeting, cost estimates, tenders and following through on the project management of medium to large scale construction projects. Working with tradespeople and subcontractors, it is the responsibility of the Project Manager to guide the construction project from the design to completion stage, on time and on budget.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years project management experience in commercial and industrial building construction.
• College or University degree in a related field, or equivalent experience and training.
• First aid and safety training relating to construction practices.
• Results oriented and strong initiative to succeed.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Desire and ability to work in a team environment.
• Proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Projects.
