| The Ideal Candidate |
They are seeking a qualified Structural Engineer with at least 10 years experience in steel and concrete design. The position will assist their Heavy Industry and Land Development teams and has a key supervisory role within our office. |
| Job Description |
As Senior Structural Engineer your duty will be to lead teams of engineers and draughting personnel through the design and consulting process to deliver project on time and exceed client expectations. |
| Responsibilities |
- Lead teams in Steel and Concrete design
- Check, verify and write off all design work
- Conduct on-site inspections
- Coach and Lead junior team members to success
- Write reports, prepare and assess tenders
- Contract administration
- Liaise closely and build relationships with clients

| Requirements |
Candidates must possess proven ability in:
- Steel and Concrete design
- Structural design packages such as Microstran and RAPT
- Conducting on-site inspections
- Mentoring junior engineers and drafters
- Report writing skills
- Verbal communication skills
- Preparing and assessing tenders
- Contract administration
