Our client, located in Fredericton, is looking for a Manager of Service & Installation. Reporting to the Manager of Business Operations you will liaise with internal and external groups and departments to include: ISS, Sales, C&M, Customer Care, Corporate Finance, Public Safety, clients, numerous contractors and sub-trades, consultants, designers, manufacturers, wholesalers.
Primary Focus
- Full strategic and tactical accountability for the planning, development and delivery of equipment installations as well as the delivery of both retail and utility services.
Accountabilities
- Ensure installation and service performance targets are being met and value creation is maximized by driving the installation and service process.
- Ensure the risk/reward balance is maintained through contracting. Follow all protocols when providing customer services.
- Optimizing available resources, both internal and external, against workload demands.
- Build and manage key installation & service relationships to identify growth and cost optimization opportunities in all market segments.
- Liaise with trade and professional associations to optimize technical acceptance.
- Develop and lead strategic relationships with technical authorities to ensure that installations are note unduly encumbered.
- Promote and ensure consistent promotion of the brand and products through home shows, trade associations and trade alliances.
- Champion interaction between Installation and Sales functions.
- Co-ordinate training initiatives for Installation and project management staff.
- Timely and dedicated reporting of the complete installation funnel and co-ordination with Sales and Operations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Leader capable of aggressively managing the relationships to deliver profitable technical solutions in support of natural gas distribution sales.
- Strong business process capabilities.
- Strong forecasting and budgeting skills.
- Strong relationship skills.
- Post-secondary degree or equivalent.
- 5 years practical industry related experience.
- Strong staff/contractor management and development skills
- Focussed on targets and goals.
- Financial Aptitude.
