Our client has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Foreman in their operation in Wabush, Labrador.

1. Have 10 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic with minimum of 2 years as a mechanical supervisor/Foreman. Must be comfortable with giving job/work directions to mechanical craft.
2. The individual needs to be work independently with minimal supervision.
3. The standard work week is 6 days per week, 10 hours per day, minimum. For those who choose to travel to the area and then go home on a rotation, pay will continue while at home.
4. Experience to be relevant to our operations where we operate following:
   • Off-Highway Caterpillar Trucks (735 Articulated to 777 Straight Frame)
   • Caterpillar Loaders from 938 size (3yd) to 992 size (13 yd)
   • Caterpillar Dozers from D6 size to D10 size
   • Caterpillar Excavators from 320 size (1 yd3) to 5130 size (14 yd)
   • Hitachi Excavators up to 1200 (9 yd) size
   • Komatsu Excavators, PC750 to PC2000 (16yd3)
   • Tandems and Highway Tractors 
   • Compactors
5. The ability to communicate in both French and English is considered an asset.
6. Qualified individuals with a current inter-provincial mechanical technician credentials (red seal) would be given first consideration.
7. Room and Board would be provided in Wabush for those who travel to the area and who choose to work on a rotation basis. Current rotation is 28 days in, 10 days out.
8. Airfare to and from Wabush is provided.
9. This is a full time position.
