We are hiring a Sales Training Delivery & Coaching Specialist to join our team.
As a member of the Management Team, this position is responsible for delivering Telesales Training Programs to new and existing Associates across the multiple locations. This position requires experience with Adult Learning Methodologies, excellent presentation skills, excellent written skills, and proven coaching skills. The ability to maintain a cooperative learning environment and manage group dynamics is essential. This role will also be responsible for the training of our Sales Excellence Program and call recording tool; will utilize tool to identify gaps and make recommendations for training modules/remedial training. The ability to manage team and internal customer expectations as an ongoing process, as well as travel to the multiple locations throughout the year is required.
Job Duties
Sales Training Program Delivery
Facilitate training activities for existing and new Telesales programs in Maitland, Halifax, Regina and Framingham. Follow the Training Department’s procedures for effective training delivery based on Adult Learning Methodologies. Use Course Evaluations as a tool to evaluate program effectiveness, as well as for professional growth and skill development. Conducts Train-the-Trainer /“Super User” Programs for qualified Telesales Associates. Effectively uses prior training experiences and knowledge of the team, culture, industry and resources to influence the optimum training solution and gain commitment from Telesales Management and Internal Business Partners.
In addition to New Hire Training, Sales Training Delivery & Coaching Specialist will be responsible for a variety of presentations to increase learning across internal and external teams.
Sales Excellence Coaching Delivery
Ensures that all evaluation and calibration is consistent across teams, as well as reinforces the use of the Telesales Strategy for Managing Sales Excellence. Continually evaluates effectiveness of the Telesales Sales Excellence Program, and makes recommendations for process improvements throughout the year. Owns and drives daily Sales Excellence Calibration sessions and Team Evaluation sessions for internal team and management team to ensure fair and consistent evaluation practices and dialogue about trends and issues. Identifies and analyzes performance trends and gaps; and make recommendations to improve performance, the quality of the sales experience and revenue generation. Evaluates and coaches sales team to reinforce the Telesales Selling Strategy, and meets monthly evaluation production goals. Drives the quality standards across the multiple Telesales locations, and ensures that site specific plans are developed for each sales program. Follows and reinforces the Department’s procedures for effective quality coaching based on the Telesales Management Coaching Scorecard. Supports the implementation and timely follow up of the process improvements. Feedback must maintain a positive tone and emphasize the associate’s strengths observed when evaluating. In addition, feedback sessions should include specific plans to assist associates to improve future performance. Evaluation and coaching must be coordinated with Telesales Team Managers in order to assure that feedback is given within 48 hours.
Job Knowledge/Experience Required:
3-5 Years of Training Delivery experience, with strong platform and coaching skills. Sales Coaching experience: understands the processes of building rapport, diagnosing a customer’s needs, making appropriate recommendations and completing a sale.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Education or Liberal Arts required.
Strong facilitation, communication, presentation and writing skills. Ability to read a situation and change communication style to ensure a supportive and collaborative environment is maintained while still requiring results and change in behavior.
Sound knowledge of Adult Learning Principles and Methodologies.
Demonstrate determination and commitment to produce quality work in given timeframes, including paying appropriate attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively. Ability to work effectively with limited supervision.
Microsoft Office Proficiency – must be an intermediate user of MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.
Ability to interact and form strong relationships with Telesales Management Team and Internal Business Partners.
Willingness and ability to travel at a 30% rate and to work hours as needed to meet deadlines.
