The Halifax Regional School Board (HRSB) currently has various term and substitute positions available for French Immersion Teachers. Immediate openings exist in the specialized subject areas of Math and Science.

Candidates must possess an Education Degree in Elementary or Secondary; a Major/Minor (or equivalent) in the predominant subject assignment; successful completion of a recognized second-language methodology course and an excellent command of the French language. 

Applicants must be eligible for a Nova Scotia Teaching Certificate in accordance with the requirements for a teaching license in the Province of Nova Scotia. Prior to an employment offer, candidates must also complete a successful interview with the HRSB French Department to assess both oral and written French proficiency.
