Applicants must have:

• Commitment to students.
• Knowledge appropriate to school level and job position requirements.
• Strong curricular background.
• Sound interpersonal, communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Education, Certificate V.
• Familiarity and competency with curriculum and programs for elementary school levels.
• Minimum linguistic proficiency of “Superior” on the New Brunswick Second Language Proficiency Scale is required to teach in the French Immersion Program.  A copy of the oral French Proficiency Certificate must be included with the application.

Teachers with recall rights in School District 17 will be considered first.
