The Training Manager will be responsible for the Development & Delivery of training to the Xerox Inside Sales organization. The Training Manager will have direct reports (Sales Trainers) located in Saint John and Halifax. The Training Manager will work collaboratively with the Operations Managers and Sales Managers to identify training needs and to deliver against the requirements. Training will focus on ways to increase the skills of each sales executive in the areas of selling skills and product knowledge. This position will continually develop, evaluate, and improve the strategies and processes by which training is delivered.
Your Responsibilities will include:
Training: Manage training and development programs for new and existing sales executives, and sales support representatives (over 600 employees).
Development: Support management development programs such as Coaching, Crucial Conversations skill development, Leadership Development and ongoing implementation of the Sales Management Process.
People Management and Development: Hire and manage a team of 4 sales trainers and enable them to successfully meet training design and delivery needs. Coach and mentor the team to develop their facilitation and management skills.
Project Management: Work with internal and external vendors to develop and deliver training curriculum.
Continuous Improvement: Utilize critical thinking skills to continuously improve all training and development programs.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following:
- Strong organization skills with the proven ability to effectively manage time and multiple priorities
- Mature and self confident with the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent systems literacy knowledge - MS Office, Excel, Word, Internet
- 5+ years of sales, training, and management experience
- Bachelors degree
- Self motivated and persistent
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
