The Hydrogeologist / Geo-Environmental Engineer position is a permanent full time position located in our Saskatoon, SK office reporting directly to the Location Manager.

Overall Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

As the successful candidate, you will:

  • assist with the assessment of contaminated sites;
  • conduct and supervise soil, groundwater and surface water quality investigation and assessment programs; and
  • evaluate and develop remedial strategies for contaminated sites. 

Much of the work is based in rural areas of Western Canada and will involve field work for extended periods. 

Qualifications:

  • Geology or applicable engineering degree from an accredited university;
  • An academic background in hydrogeology is important to this position;
  • Excellent computer and technical writing skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-tasked environment are essential; and
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to communicate effectively and to proactively respond to time-sensitive issues.
