Manager, Environmental and Land Use Division
CBCL Limited is currently seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and entrepreneurial manager, based in Halifax, to direct the Environmental and Land Use Division. This multidisciplinary team undertakes land use planning and landscape design, the determination and remediation of contamination and the execution of the studies necessary to obtain environmental permits and authorisations.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- An accredited environmental engineering or relevant masters degree and membership in one or more pertinent professional bodies;
- Not less than 10 years experience in the environmental and/or land use field;
- Ability to effectively manage multidisciplinary projects and lead interdisciplinary teams;
- A proven track record of project development and delivery in a consulting setting;
- Demonstrated knowledge of pertinent federal and provincial legislation including CEAA, CEPA and SARA.
