Marine Engineer

Clearwater Fleet Operations, Lunenburg, NS, requires the services of a Marine Chief Engineer for the fleet of offshore factory fishing vessels, operating from ports in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.

Applicants are to hold, at minimum, a Class III Motor Certificate with Continued Proficiency Endorsement.

Applicants must possess or be willing to obtain:

• A Commercial Fishing License
• WHMIS 
• Valid Marine Advanced First Aid
• Valid Seafarer’s Medical

Considered Assets:

• Confined Space Entry Training
• Trouble-Shooting Skills
• Special Skills or Additional Training In Electrical / Refrigeration / Hydraulics
• Computer skills
