Our client, Fox Harb'r Golf Resort and Spa, is in immediate need of a Head Waiter . This position is a full time/seasonal position (from April to October 2008/ongoing).

Located on the Northumberland Strait near Wallace, Nova Scotia, Fox Harb'r Golf Resort & Spa is dedicated to creating exceptional experiences for its guests. As part of the Food & Beverage team, the chosen candidate must be dedicated to providing and maintaining the highest quality service standards in a superior professional manner.

Requirements: 

• A minimum of two years previous experience in a comparable capacity.
• Must organize evening floor plan
• Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
• Must be organized and able to multi-task
• Must oversee flow of service.
• Must greet and seat guests, pour wine, inform guests of chef's signature dishes.
• Must prep restaurant and lounge ambience prior to a la carte service.
• Must be willing to work in all areas of food & beverage services, including banquets.
• Must participate in team meetings & training seminars.
• Able to answer guest questions regarding menu items, facilities and local area.
• Able to assist in aspects of service; delivering cocktails, refilling water, topping off wine
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Able to handle busy periods and sometimes-long hours.
• Ideally live or relocate within a 45 km radius.
