We are looking for a dynamic individual to be part of our West Bedford team.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Licensed Practical Nurse registered in the Province of Nova Scotia.
• Recent clinical experience, including medication administration and leadership duties.
• Previous experience in gerontological nursing an asset.
• Leadership /Charge experience preferred.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular and consistent basis according to the Northwood Corporate Standard.
• Good problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated use of proper body mechanics and ability to perform heavy lifting.
• Ability to follow directions, seeks help when needed and directs others as required.
• Knowledge of / experience with a team based person directed Model of Living.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
