Continuing Care Assistant / Personal Care Worker
FT, PT and Casual Positions Available

Position Description: The Continuing Care Assistant / Personal Care Worker functions as a member of the Nursing team under the direction of the Health Services Manager or Designate, to provide direct personal care to residents.

Position Details: Permanent Full, Part Time positions available; flexible casual employment is also available

Ocean View Manor Society is an accredited continuing care facility providing health services for 176 residents and employing about 250 staff. Qualifications:

• Continuing Care Assistant or Personal Care Worker Course.
• Preference will be given to applicants with recent long term care experience.
• Interpersonal skills, a good work ethic and a strong ability to communicate.

Nursing students with clinical experience will be considered for casual positions, providing a great opportunity for students to apply their newly gained knowledge and further develop essential nursing skills.

Successful applicants will be paid in accordance with the current Collective Agreement between Ocean View Manor and C.U.P.E.  Local 1245
