Essential Qualifications:
- Graduate nurse – actively registered in New Brunswick, or eligible for such registration.
- Certification in BCLS and IV Therapy.
- Successful completion or willingness to complete the Monitor Interpretation Program or equivalent.
- Anaesthesia Learning Module to be completed, within six (6) months.
- Post basic course in Operating Room technique and at least six (6) months previous experience in the Operating Room is required.
- If no qualified candidates, consideration may be given to unqualified candidates willing to commit to extensive training and orientation.
- All mandatory certifications must be up to date.
- Mentally and physically able to perform assigned duties.
- Must have good previous work records.
- Must be able to attend work on a regular basis.

Basic Duties:
To holistically coordinate the care of each patient, incorporating the nursing profession's values of knowledge, theory and practice. To assess, plan, implement and evaluate the needs of patients and significant others in the delivery of care and collaborate with all members of the interdisciplinary team in this approach.
