Essential Qualifications:
- Successful completion of an approved basic course in nursing.
- Active registration in New Brunswick or eligible for such registration.
- Current CPR.
- Current ACLS or willing to complete within 6 months of hire.
- Physically and mentally able to perform assigned duties.
- Good previous work records.
- Must be able to attend work on a regular basis.
Must demonstrate adherence to all privacy legislation and corporation policies to ensure all confidential patient, business, financial and employee information is accessed on a need to know basis only (for required job duties) and is disclosed only to those authorized to receive it.
Must have applicable immunizations within 1 month of accepting position.
Basic Duties:
To holistically coordinate the care of each patient, incorporating the nursing profession's values of knowledge, theory and practice. To assess, plan, implement and evaluate the needs of patients and significant others in the delivery of care and collaborate with all members of the interdisciplinary team in this approach.
