River Valley Health has an immediate opportunity for a permanent part-time (0.54 FTE) Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton.

As a member of an interdisciplinary team, you will provide quality patient care within the scope of professional nursing practice to patients and families in the Intensive Care Unit and the Surgical Program.

Qualifications:

• Active registration with NANB
• Current BCLS certification
• Minimum 2 years equivalent of acute care medical/surgical nursing experience
• Recent ICU nursing experience or a Critical Care Course accepted by River Valley Health
• Demonstrated assessment skills and ability to function independently with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated ability to respond to emergency situations, rapidly changing priorities and complex patient care needs
• Demonstrated teaching, communication, interpersonal and team building skills
