Department: Brunswick Unit
Shift: Rotating 8 or 12 hour shifts - Rotating
Purpose of Job:
To holistically coordinate the care of each patient, incorporating the nursing profession's values of knowledge, theory and practice.
Qualifications:
- Graduate nurse – actively registered in New Brunswick or eligible for such registration.
- At least two years experience in Medical-Surgical Nursing.
- Current Cardiac Monitor Interpretation Course or successful in challenge exam at time of hire.
- Current ACLS or willing to complete within six months
- Must be able to take call for the emergency department on a rotating basis.
- Good previous work records with the ability to attend work on a regular basis.
- All mandatory certifications must be up to date, including BLS
