Job Summary:

The incumbent will lead and coordinate activities in the Nursing Department and in Administration, in accordance with the philosophy, objectives and policies of the Nursing Department and the hospital.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Nursing;
• Four years of recent and related clinical experience with increasing responsibilities;
• Additional experience and/or education considered an asset;
• Leadership, interpersonal relationship and problem-solving skills;
• Responsibility and accountability, sound judgement, effective time-management skills and autonomy;
• Flexibility and ability to act as a change agent;
• Ability to communicate effectively with medical staff and nursing staff, patients and their families, community agencies and the general public;
• Ability to communicate in both English and French;
• Interest in advancing both personally and professionally, as required for this position.
