River Valley Health has an immediate opportunity for a permanent full-time Registered Nurse on the Medical/Surgical Unit at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville.

As a member of an interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse provides quality patient care within the scope of professional practice to patients and families during the surgical post operative and medical experience.  The Registered Nurse participates in the delivery of care services to medical/surgical patients.

Qualifications:

• Active registration with NANB
• Current BCLS certification
• Demonstrated ability to perform Neonatal Resuscitation according to NRP standards or willing to obtain within one year
• Demonstrated teaching, communication and team-building skills
• Demonstrated assessment skills and ability to function independently with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated ability to respond to emergency situations, rapidly changing priorities and complex patient care needs
