Essential Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree in nursing, and successful completion of a postgraduate Nurse Practitioner Program.
- Registered as a Nurse Practitioner with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick.
- At least five (5) years of nursing experience.
- Must be bilingual in accordance with South-East Regional Health Authority policy, ie. ability to speak and write English and ability to speak French.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as a team member.
- Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver educational programs.
- Demonstrated competencies in interpersonal relations, clinical decision-making, problem solving and communication.
- Good previous work records and must be able to attend work on a regular basis.
- All mandatory certifications must be up to date, including BLS.

Basic Duties:
The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the provision of primary health care services to manage the needs of individuals, families, groups and communities within his/her scope of practice.
